Peek-a-boo
What a ride
Faith & Amie - girl talk...

Time to blow out the candle
Not sure what to do with this..

Faith arrives and Amie & Will practically rip the blankets off her to get her out of the carseat. She was equally enthused to see them.
Amie & Faith have some time for 'girl talk'.
Amie snuggles up to Will - to get her hand in his snack cup! For some reason Amie loves that cup. After Will was finished she crawled around with it on her hand.
We had a lovely coffee with lemon cupcakes on Wednesday. Erin had another appointment and Laura had her weekly doctor's appointment so we did miss them. Amie & Will are reaching for everything these days. The stereo playing Barney songs was especially attractive! Faith is getting very good at rolling around to get where she wants to be and is spending lots of time on her hands and knees - I'm sure she'll be crawling soon. It had been a while since we got together so it was really nice to see the girls and spend some time in adult conversation!
Caught red-handed!That's a guilty look if I ever saw one. Funny how yarn can be so entertaining!
PlaytimeOne of those rare moments when Amie is entertaining herself.
Cheerio-io!
So cute! It's hard to believe 11 months have gone by already. Amie has changed so much. She is starting to mimic words and sounds we say. She can now say Mom, Dad, Santa (pronounced 'danta'), doggie, hi, yeah, and baby. She whispers be-be into the mirror everytime she hears herself. Oh, and she did say 'dolly' the other day but I haven't been able to get her to say it again! She tries to copy animal sounds (Mike's good at those) like Moo, cock-a-doodle-doo, ruff-ruff.
Yesterday she took her first step on her own! She's been standing alone for a few seconds at a time and when I set her down on the floor she stood still for 10 seconds and then took one step. Yay Amie!
She sure loves her dad. When he comes home from work he usually has to go to the basement to do a bit of paperwork and she yells at the top of the stairs 'hey dad' until he comes up.
We've sure been having fun. I really feel blessed that I am able to stay home with Amie. We have signed up for some more swimming, which she absolutely loves, and a playgroup - more so that I don't go a little crazy and get to talk to a few more adults!
Christmas dinner
Jann demo's how to kick butt in boxing - watch out Jim!
Gifts!

Amie opens her 'Brown Bear' book and new clothes from Auntie Belinda and Christian.

It's like a toy city.
Amie gets very excited when she finds a 'my first Christmas' ornament in her stocking!
