Amie is getting so tall and lanky! She also has to question everything and everyone, which is frustrating, but she is very funny and has a good sense of humour! She's all about making forts - Mike just put up a tent in the living room so we could finally put the chairs back at the table to eat supper. She also loves Lego Friends and her iPad. Her reading is amazing and she has a reading log from school now to keep track of the books she reads. She brings home 3 books a week, but refuses to read them more than once - good thing she has lots of her own books!
Erica at 15 months now has changed so much; she is starting to repeat sounds and words, she'll say please, cheese, peek - which all sound the same - LOL, bubbles, moo, ruff, mom, dad, hi, hot, A for Amie, dup means yes. She'll roar for a lion, hoo for an owl and do a high pitched noise for a cat and say brum for a car. She loves music and loves dancing with Amie. She'll clap and bop up and down and spin in circles. Erica also loves to run now, which for her is really just walking fast, but she's very proud of herself. She is also quite a comedian and won't stop if she can get a laugh. She loves to tease and pretend she's giving you something and then pull it away at the last minute or say no she doesn't want to go me if Mike is holding her.
Erica's hair is getting longer and is curly when it's wet, so it will be interesting to see if it is as curly as Amie's. Amie's hair is getting quite long now so sometimes it looks a lot straighter, but if she's jumping around or there's any humidity the curls pop out!
Erica loves to do what Amie is doing whether that is colouring with markers or playing with playdough. She actually holds a crayon perfectly and can feed herself with a fork or spoon, which she insists upon doing by herself!
