Climbing lessons

It was Amie's first day of climbing lessons at the Calgary Climbing Center.  They hooked her up with a harness and started out with a smaller wall.  She confidently went to the top and easily slid down.  On the next wall, which was much higher and straight up she decided she didn't want to climb quite as high, and also decided she liked the part where she came down the best!

Fat Burger

Today we were in the South and decided to stop at Fat Burger. We hadn't been there since Amie was a baby! It was so good! Mike had an awesome burger with guacamole, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a nice multigrain bun, and their lemonade was so great.

Date Night

Mike & I went on a date tonight to the movies - The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn. It was good :) Not in an earthshattering way that will affect all who see it, but good in a 'haven't been out for a date for a very long time and enjoy the Twilight series' way!

Steph came over to babysit Amie, who was so very excited to see her and, of course, stayed awake until we got home!

24 Sleeps to Christmas!

I wanted to try to do a picture a day this December and keep a bit of a journal as there are lots of exciting things to happen this December!!

Poor monkey with a sore throat

December 1st - Poor Amie was up most of the night with strep throat - not a good way to start December.... However, we made a trip to the doctor and got fixed up with a prescription. 

She was very excited, however to open the first day of her Advent Calendar!!

We've got the tree and decorations up, gingerbread cookies are made, gifts wrapped and I have the Christmas cards addressed and popped the ones to mail into the box!  (I'm not usually this prepared, but since baby is due the end of the month I wanted to be sure to be ready!)
