Mike can always get a laugh out of Amie. The only thing is she thinks he's always kidding, even if he's trying to be serious!

Say No to Toys!
Amie has been totally disinterested in her toys lately, now that she's mobile and can explore so many other things. Here are some things we try to keep her occupied.
The patio doors provide lots of entertainment
Amie loves listening to the guitar playing
We finally caved and bought a new toy!! She played with it for over an hour straight.

Friends
This video came out a bit dark, but it actually sounds like Amie says 'yes' when I ask her if Will is her friend!
Amie was really excited to see Faith when she came over.
Friends
Will came over so Sonia and Paul could do some Christmas shopping. He and Amie played well together and then Will decided to do some exploring. Of course Amie had to follow and copy him.
Faith came over to visit Amie while her mom went to work for the day. Amie is very excited to see her, and as you can see very interested in the toys that Faith has.

Scrappin'
10 months and walking around holding on to whatever she can.
Mom gets a moment of peace when Amie goes in the exersaucer for snack time!Looking soo cute in her new outfit from Grandma and Auntie Debbie.

Amie models her new hat. She's beginning to not like hats too much and usually pulls them off once we get in the car.

On the Move
Amie has gotten crawling down pat and now has moved onto pulling herself up onto things. She is quite proud of herself here for being able to climb onto this shelf. Just a couple weeks ago this shelf held picture frames and candles, which I had decided Amie would just learn not to touch.... You can see it is now cleaned off!
Toys just don't hold the same appeal now that Amie can move around. She is 'helping' me with the laundry and was quite pleased with herself that she could stand up next to the basket.

Coffee at Sonia's (unfortunately Erin and AJ couldn't make it). The drum sticks provided quite a bit of entertainment. It is so great to visit other people's toys - so much more fun than our own.
